When fearing for your life on a regular basis is just part of the way you live, sometimes you have no choice but to just try and keep yourself amused. The Mile is one of Gotham’s most popular weekend destinations, and the district houses a variety of attractions such as ferris wheels, rollercoasters, a house of mirrors, a zoo, and a lot of crappy food.

 

  • -The park was opened in 1884 and is considered part of the city’s history for that reason.

  • -Those who live nearby often complain about the noise level— it’s hard to tell why someone’s  screaming bloody murder around here.

  • -There are a lot of clowns. Whenever there’s a Joker attack, the Mile is the first place the  GCPD looks for his lackeys, 

  • - When Haly’s Circus comes to Gotham they put up the tent in the middle of the park.

  • - The park is said to be haunted, just like practically everything else in the city  

  •    but unlike everything else in the city, there’s a lot of anecdotal evidence to back up the idea  

  •    that the House of Mirrors is haunted
