Bleachers

District: Fashion District

Sitting right on the Fashion District’s side of Miller Harbor, Bleachers is one of the best sports bar and grills in town. The owners think the name is really witty. Some of the locals agree but most of the bar’s regular’s are too busy waiting for the next big game to roll around. If you can’t afford stadium seats or if the sporting event you want to watch just happens to be taking place in another time zone, Bleachers is the place for you. They serve good beer and grilled food at an affordable price and there are enough TV screens in the place to keep everyone happy. The workers have been known to decorate the place in all kinds of themes and colors and flags, depending what’s going down. Their opening hours are also really flexible, just in case the event you want to watch is happening on the other side of the world.

Virtually nothing on their menu is healthy. Even the salad is greasy. Their steaks and burgers and ribs are mouth-wateringly good, though.
The bar is right on the water and the exterior provides a really great view during clear weather.
They have a bunch of sweepstakes and raffles for big events like the World Cup and the Olympics.
Half of the bar is vaguely separated into a pool room. It tends to be a little quieter, but only slightly.
The place is either pounding or dead, depending what time of day you go in and what kind of sport is on the TV. Wimbledon doesn’t really get the best crowd.
