What does a billionaire trust fund brat with barely any real world business experience do to prove himself to his board? He opens a night club, of course. Taking over a decommissioned Queen Industries factory in the Narrows, the playboy has created his own business that operates within an industry he knows well; entertainment. In his PR campaign before opening the club, Oliver Queen stated he wanted to help renovate areas of poverty and influence social change. He sees the club as a way of putting money back into the Narrows of Gotham and employs mostly people from the surrounding area, though most of them probably can’t afford his VIP tickets.

One strict policy at Verdant is that drugs are not allowed in his night club.
Oliver Queen is known to asctually spend nights working in the bar himself rumoured to be that he is gaining business experience so he can one day run Queen Industries.
