CITY HALL & Financial District

Gotham’s City Hall district

The political heart of Gotham. As the name suggests, it’s home to the City Hall. The building used to be located in Old Gotham but was destroyed by an earthquake in 1898. Several other law offices and council buildings are located within a Batman’s Glide of the building, as well as a few shops and apartment buildings.

  • - City Hall Weddings are fairly popular and the building has fancy reception

  •    halls that can serve such a purpose as well as hosting business meetings,

  •    presentations, etc.

  • - The Gotham Courthouse sees more action than it probably should and is

  •   always busy.

  •

Financial District

Most people who work in the financial district don’t actually live there. Sure, there are a few apartment complex skyrises but for the most part, the financial district is all about the commute. Many large businesses and corporations have their offices here and some are almost as tall as old Gotham Clocktower herself.

  • A ton of rich people have their businesses in the financial district and it’s a popular place for robberies and the resulting car chases. The Five Fingers Gang runs jobs there on occasion.

  • Queen Industries head office is now located here rather than in Star City. The decision was made in the years Oliver Queen was assumed dead.
