The Velvet Rope

Located in downtown Gotham, The Velvet Rope gets its name from the queue that builds up outside the club on a nightly basis. Though many people would consider such a business as sleazy, The Rope takes pride in their quality control for who gets in. They’re certainly one of the pricier clubs around, but as a general rule, you get what you pay for.

There is a steep $75 entrance fee to get into the building.
You must be 18 or over to see a show, 21 or older to sit at the bar and/or buy a drink.
Specializes in strip shows but also offers professional escorts out for hire.
Owned by a man known solely as “Rizzo”; he’s quite proud of his fine establishment.
The inside is decorated with two bar areas on each side, and a large 3-part stage in the middle, including walkways, a cage, and three poles.
Despite knowing about the less legal activities that go on here (escorts, bar bets, drug deals, etc), the cops are unable to find a loophole that could shut them down.
The dancers and escorts are paid handsomely.
