Once a wine cellar belonging to one of the wealthiest families in Gotham, Cellar Door was converted into a restaurant ten or so years ago. The cozy, warm atmosphere provides a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of Gotham’s streets. Advertising itself by word of mouth as one of Gotham’s best kept secrets, Cellar Door provides a great environment for an intimate gathering in a place that’s a little different than the norm.

The opening hours are 10am-1am
Cellar Door hosts a pub quiz every Tuesday at 7pm.
The building dates back over 350 years and as such, is Grade II listed.
In honor of the pub’s origins, it has an expansive wine collection with many vintage choices.
A variety of pub meals and platters are served all day until 10pm.
