Quarters

District: The Bowery

Yep, you heard that right, every game here only costs as much as the place’s namesake. Don’t think that means you’ll make it out with full pockets, though. Most people who enter don’t leave until they’re a good couple pounds lighter, and that’s no exaggeration.

  • The largest arcade in the state

  •

  • Despite the common view that arcades are for stereotypical nerds, you can find just about any high school student (and many college students) here at one point or another.

  •

  • Has one of the original PAC-MAN games, though it’s in a display case.

  •

  • Attached to the arcade is a laser tag arena. It’s technically its own business, but the two have a nice symbiosis going, as they give each other customers.

  •

  • One of the air hockey table’s legs is just a wooden plank, but everyone pretends not to notice.

  •

  • Golden Axe  has been broken and eating peoples’ coins for years, but the owner refuses to do anything about it, as he wants to memorialize his old high score that’s still on there.
